WELCOME to my seventh edition of Music Notes, which essentially is my Music Blog. Music Notes will provide more detailed information on my music, releases, updates or various musical articles.
So without further ado, enjoy this edition of Music Notes.
Last time ("7 Quick Ways to Support Indie Artists - Part II" Music Notes) we discussed the remaining 3 different ways that listeners and fans can support Indie Artist. Now we will cover a BONUS one that I received from a friend/music fan of mine.....
Ring Tones
She told me a quick story of how she actually made one of my songs her "ring tone" on her
phone. (Truly touched my heart!)
When her phone rang at work, her boss heard the song "Betcha By Golly Wow" and was like "Wow, I haven't heard that song in while".
My friend went on to tell him about me and he actually sat there and listened to my version of the song and then listened to the original version made.
He actually said he liked my version better. (I was touched again!) So yes, that is yet another way that you can help out Indie Artist and what I love - this idea was from a friend and not from me. Love it!
But one thing I want everyone to realize, no matter how you support your favorite artist....remember this quote by Rebekah Joy Plett:
On a personal note - thank you to all of you who have done 1 or
many of the these 7 (+ Bonus) ways. I totally appreciate your love & support.

@Dan Monahan - Thanks so much! Yes, indeed. Whether Independent or Main Stream artist, one just needs a mp3 and can turn that into a ring tone for sure. Thanks for stopping by :)
Great post LT! I will say the same thing as Amy, that I didn't know that you could use indie music as a ring tone! Cool I'm going to give it a try
Great post LT thanks

@Amy Starr Allen - Yes, indeed. The beauty of this is that this idea came from a friend. So glad you enjoyed and loved the quote too. I think it clearly demonstrates all that people support when they support artists. :)
LT, this is fantastic. I love to support independent business owners! I really appreciate this post because I never thought of ringtones this way. I love it LT.
