Never Give Up!

Never Give Up!

With my Inspirational Blogs, I usually keep a running list of potential topics to inspire and encourage with. And other times, I am simply inspired with the idea and sit down at my laptop and start typing away. This topic on "Never Give Up" has always been near and dear to my heart. It's the basis of my personal creed "Believe & Never Give Up On Your Dreams".

A couple of months ago, it really hit me that I really needed to write a post on never giving up to inspire and encourage those that most needed to hear this. I have seen so many people over the past year just "give up" and lose all hope and it really made me quite sad to observe.

It wasn't until today, February 17th, 2020 (at the time of writing this post) that I was truly inspired to finally write this post and offer some hope and encouragement to those on this journey to see their goals, desires and dreams come fruition. And you will see at the end of the post that today, was the perfect day in Divine timing (pretty awesome when things sync up like this!)

Ask & It Is Given

Esther & Jerry Hicks (some of my favorite Inspirational & Spiritual Teachers on the Law of Attraction) wrote a book called "Ask and It is Given". Its based on the ancient texts from Matthew 7:7 (Ask and it will be given unto you...). In this book it talks about when we desire something (whether we ask with our mouths through prayer or meditation OR just through our eminence), we are asking and sending that signal out to The Universe and it is then answered by Source and given (deposited) in into our personal "vortex" (vibrational holding place of all your dreams and desires).

The process of receiving (as stated in the The Secret written by Rhonda Byrne) what we want is a three step process:

Ask - Believe - Receive

Most of us have the "Asking" part down pat. And some of us have the "Believing" part down pat, but most of us do not "allow" ourselves to receive. Many times its simply our own limiting beliefs and disbelief that are stopping the flow of what we want. And unfortunately, most of us just stay there.

And when what we want don't show up, we just give up. And then our dreams are just cast away.

So how do we reduce or get rid of these limiting beliefs that may be stopping us from being the "receiving mode"?

Three powerful tools that I personally utilize are MeditationSubliminal Messages and Brain Training

But no matter what you use to reduce those limiting beliefs, we MUST do so in order to allow the "flow" of what we want and desire into our lives.

It's a journey, but we must not give up in order to see our goals, dreams and desires to come to fruition

In The Meantime

We have to understand that when it comes to our goals, dreams and desires and once we asked, things are happening in the "atmospheric continuum" (the unseen). We must just know and trust that "something" is happening behind the scenes.

I was watching a video from Jake Ducey (Law of Attraction expert) yesterday and he was talking about how we don't have to worry or think about "to breath" or our "heart to pump" our "body to digest the food we eat". It just happens naturally. We just trust and know. And its funny, that the power that creates worlds lives in us and we don't harness this power in other areas of our lives. We have to learn and trust the perfection of the Universe and Divine timing.

So when we are "waiting" for our goals, dreams and desires to come to fruition, what do we do in the meantime?

Let Go - Let God

Bob Proctor said it best in his book "You Were Born Rich", in one of his chapters, he clearly talks about this idea of letting go and letting God.

I know this is easier said than done. We must "release" it to the Universe and allow God to work on your behalf. Too often we try to make things happen ourselves which ultimately slows the process down even more. Yes, we may have to take "inspired" action. We have to understand that people, things and circumstances are being arranged. Cooperative components are coming together - all on your behalf. All we have to do is Believe and Allow and Don't Give Up.

So here are some things to do in the meantime:

Create a Playlist - Being a Musician, I tend to have a playlist for everything. I have a playlist called "Feeling Good". I listen to this playlist when I need to "Feel Good". This playlist helps me stay focused on my goals and keep me optimistic with lots of faith and hope. A great song to listen to is "Never Give Up" by song writer and musician Kristian Cage. This song really provides some hope and encouragement on your journey.

Visualization - Yes, this is powerful. What I have learned from Esther & Jerry Hicks is that we must focus on what we want. Many times (well most of the times) we focus on "what is". Unless it pleases you, we must focus on "what is becoming". Sit and visualize your goal, dream or desire coming to fruition. How would it make you FEEL when it finally happens? Focus on that FEELING and stay there.

Meditation - This is a powerful tool that you can utilize every day to keep you in alignment with "The Flow". You will feel peaceful, refreshed and more energized and it allows us to be more in the place of "allowing", which is key to manifesting our dreams.

Support - We all need a support system. Surround yourself with others who support your goals, dreams or desires. Not everyone will - so don't "cast your pearls to the swine". Be inspired by others who have reached the goal that you desire. They may have the inspiration that you need to keeping moving forward.

Stay Inspired - Read books on personal growth and development. We can only grow to the level that we allow ourselves. So grow and be inspired. (A highly recommended book is called "In the Meantime" by Iyanla Vizant - a great read!)

These are just some steps to help us stay inspired during our "mean time".

When Will My Ship Come?

I totally get it. Sometimes the "Meantime"  can seem like forever and it leaves you wondering "When will my ship come?".

This past Friday was Valentine's Day. I know for many singles, this day can be somewhat depressing. You see tons of pictures on Facebook of people in relationships, in love, flowers, chocolates, and you wonder, "when will I meet my special someone?" I get it. I am single too and have been for a long time. Sometimes "in the meantime", we have to create the atmosphere we desire. I personally went out and brought myself a Boston Cream Cake and enjoyed it during the weekend. It was my Valentine's Gift to myself. I know that some day, my special someone will come into my life and I'll be able to celebrate Valentine's Day (and every day for that matter) with my Love.

Another example I see all the time is in the online home business space with people giving up too soon before they start seeing results. They see successful people in their businesses, but they are not seeing those results in their business. It's okay. However, we have to realize that many times we are seeing the "harvest" of the person, when we only just planted our seed.

When the farmer plants a seed, he doesn't start stomping on the ground in frustration after one week of not seeing "any results". He trusts and knows in the perfection of the Natural Laws of the Universe (in particular, The Law of Seed-time and Harvest) and in "due season", the farmer's harvest arrives.

There are countless examples, but regardless what we see or how we feel, we must NOT give up. The picture below is a perfect example of what I see all the time. Someone is so close to reaching their goal, dream or desire and they just gave up too soon. It's okay to get discouraged sometimes. It's life. It happens, but don't stay there.

One thing to realize is when you feel like giving up, that's usually means you are closer to your dream than you realize. Just hold on! It's coming!

Whenever I feel like giving up, I always think back to the picture below and realize so much momentum has already ensued - I am just TOO close and have come so far to give up now. So I pick myself up and keep on believing and then faith and hope continues.

Never Give Up

In closing, as I was writing in my "Gratitude & I Declare" Journal this morning, this page showed up right after I was inspired to write this post today. Talk about perfection of The Universe and Divine timing.

I know someone - somewhere out there needs to hear this.

Never Give Up! Keep Moving Forward!

Remember, You are closer than you think!
